GREETINGS: Klamath CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION (CAP) has adopted Hands & Words Are Not For Hurting (Hands Project) and is breathing new life into this exceptional program. The Hands Project focuses on reducing violence of all types, especially bullying and school violence. It has also been shown to increase the development of healthy relationships amoung students, based on respect and equality through personal responsibility.
CAP is showing the 10-minute DVD called the POWER OF ONE, which speaks to school violence and the Hands Project (all of the students who participated in the film received Certificates of Recognition from Harvard University). We would like to invite you to see this short film and we can bring the POWER OF ONE right to your desk for a personal viewing, that way you only have to invest 10 minutes of your time (we know how busy schedules can get). To schedule your opportunity to see this powerful film, please contact me with the time and place that is most convenient for you by calling Michael at 541-798-5498 or email: michaelkaibel@centurytel.net. THANK YOU

Michael, I did not get to meet you at the CARES conference or at the gathering at the courthouse but, I was there! I am Sharon Bowman, the YDN coordinator for Klamath-Lake Co. Thank you for a well run, informative, extremely important conference. The YDN from Medford, Barbra Henry, also attended and she thought it was the best conference she had been to all year! It was an honor to meet some of the attendees and presenters. Thank you for your great work and for keeping Klamath Falls in-the-loop!
