Youth Development Network Coordinator. This three year Americorps Vista position is funded by the Meyer Memorial Trust and sponsored by state wide organizations Oregon Mentors and Citizens for Safe Schools. The Vista is tasked with working to help all mentoring and after school programs in our area with capacity building. They will organize training opportunities for our staff working with youth in mentoring or after school related activities; do grant research and help with grant writing; assist with recruitment of volunteers and plan for fundraising; One of the Vista's primary roles will be to encourage all programs to implement evidence based elements of effective practice to improve our programming for youth.
